Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking.

Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked; drain the excess grease thoroughly.

Transfer the cooked beef to a large mixing bowl. Add condensed cream of mushroom soup, cream of cheddar cheese soup, frozen cubed potatoes, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Stir until evenly mixed.

Lightly grease a 9 × 13-inch baking dish. Pour the beef mixture into the dish and spread evenly.

Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes with the foil on to cook through and warm the ingredients.

Remove the foil carefully and bake for an additional 30 minutes to brown the cheese topping.
