2-Ingredient Air Fryer Banana (Printer-Friendly)

Soft banana donut holes made with two ingredients, air fried to golden perfection.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Primary

01 - 1 medium ripe banana (approximately 120 g)
02 - ½ cup pancake mix (approximately 60 g)

→ Optional Toppings

03 - ¼ cup granulated sugar (50 g)
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (2.6 g)
05 - Powdered sugar (quantity as desired for glaze)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Peel the banana and mash it thoroughly in a medium mixing bowl until smooth with no large lumps.
02 - Add pancake mix to the mashed banana and stir gently until the mixture begins to clump together.
03 - Lightly grease your hands with nonstick spray and knead the dough just until it forms a cohesive, slightly sticky ball. Avoid overworking the dough.
04 - Roll the dough into tablespoon-sized balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter, keeping hands greased to prevent sticking.
05 - Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray and arrange the dough balls spaced 1 inch apart to allow for expansion. Cook in small batches if necessary.
06 - Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 7 minutes or until the donut holes are golden and puffed.
07 - Combine granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl. Lightly spray cooked donut holes with nonstick spray and roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat evenly.
08 - Mash a small banana until smooth, then mix with powdered sugar to create a pourable glaze. Toss warm donut holes in the glaze, then transfer to parchment to set.

# Helpful Hints:

01 - For best texture, consume donut holes fresh and warm. Avoid glazing if storing, as this causes sogginess. Store plain donut holes in an airtight container for up to 4 days at room temperature.
02 - Adjust dough ball size to modify cook time; smaller balls cook faster, larger ones require more time.
03 - Overuse of pancake mix may cause density; balance with banana to maintain lightness.
