# Steps to Follow:

01 - Remove the steak from the refrigerator 30 to 60 minutes before cooking to ensure even internal temperature for uniform cooking.
02 - Use paper towels to thoroughly dry the steak on all sides to prevent steaming and promote a proper sear in the air fryer.
03 - Combine kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and dried thyme in a small bowl; mix thoroughly.
04 - Drizzle olive oil evenly over both sides of the steak, then apply the seasoning blend generously, coating both surfaces and edges.
05 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for at least 5 minutes to achieve optimal searing conditions.
06 - Place the steak flat in the air fryer basket without overcrowding. Cook according to desired doneness for a 1-inch thick steak: rare 6-8 minutes, medium-rare 8-10 minutes, medium 10-12 minutes, medium-well 12-14 minutes, well-done 14-16 minutes.
