Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders (Printer-Friendly)

Pull-apart sliders with savory beef, crispy bacon, cheddar, and a buttery mustard glaze in soft Hawaiian rolls.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Beef Mixture

01 - 1 pound lean ground beef (85/15)
02 - 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1/4 cup secret sauce or burger sauce
05 - 1 teaspoon salt
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
07 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
08 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

→ Toppings and Assembly

09 - 12 slices cheddar cheese
10 - 6 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
11 - 12 King's Hawaiian dinner rolls

→ Butter Glaze

12 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
13 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
14 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
15 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
16 - 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté ground beef with chopped onions and minced garlic until beef is browned and no longer pink, breaking it up during cooking. Drain excess grease.
03 - Transfer beef to a bowl. Stir in secret sauce, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder until evenly combined.
04 - In the same skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Let cool slightly, then crumble into bite-sized pieces.
05 - Slice slider buns horizontally, keeping the tops attached. Place bottom halves on the prepared baking sheet. Layer 6 slices of cheddar cheese evenly over the buns, spread the beef mixture on top, add remaining 6 cheese slices, then sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Close with top halves of the buns.
06 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Heat briefly if necessary to fully melt butter, then stir to blend.
07 - Brush butter glaze evenly over the tops of the buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
08 - Cover sliders loosely with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to toast buns if desired. Serve warm.

# Helpful Hints:

01 - Drain ground beef well after browning to prevent soggy sliders.
02 - Layering cheese both under and over the beef mixture helps hold sliders together.
03 - Tenting sliders with foil during baking keeps buns soft and cheese melted.
