                Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place an oven-safe wire rack on top to promote even airflow and crisping.

                Cut each bacon slice in half to yield 32 pieces. Wrap each club cracker snugly with one half slice of bacon, covering most of the surface without excessive overlap. Arrange wrapped crackers evenly on the wire rack.

                Sprinkle approximately ½ teaspoon of packed brown sugar on top of the bacon on each cracker. Optionally, add a small pinch of freshly ground black pepper to each for a subtle spicy balance.

                Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes. Monitor after 20 minutes to ensure bacon is crispy and sugar has caramelized to a golden brown without burning.

                Remove from oven and cool on the wire rack for 5 minutes, allowing the caramelized sugar to set and the crackers to crisp before serving warm or at room temperature.
