Banana and oat cookies, naturally sweet, quick to make, and ideal for breakfasts or snacks.

# What You’ll Need:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
02 - 1 3/4 cups quick oats

→ Optional Additions

03 - 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
04 - 2 tablespoons peanut butter or any nut butter
05 - 1 tablespoon honey
06 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas with quick oats. Stir until fully incorporated. If desired, gently fold in chocolate chips, nut butter, honey, or cinnamon.
03 - Using a large spoon, scoop approximately 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each portion lightly with the back of a spoon or moistened fingertips, shaping into rounds. Cookies will not spread during baking.
04 - Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the edges are firm and cookies appear lightly golden.
05 - Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack for several minutes before serving. Enjoy as a snack or breakfast on-the-go.

# Helpful Hints:

01 - Flatten the dough before baking for uniform shape as these cookies do not spread. Moisten your fingertips with water to prevent dough from sticking while shaping.
02 - Store cooled cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
