Return pork chops to the skillet, nestling them into the onion and broth mixture. Cover and simmer on low heat for approximately 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese evenly over the pork chops. Cover and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese melts.
