# What You’ll Need:

→ Beef Patties

01 - 2 pounds 80/20 ground chuck
02 - Salt, pepper, and garlic rub (SPG), to taste

→ Cheese

03 - 6 slices pepper jack cheese

→ Bread

04 - 4 slices Texas toast buns

→ Jalapeño Popper Mixture

05 - Cream cheese, chopped jalapeños, cheddar cheese, and spices blend for filling

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Divide ground chuck into six 1/3-pound balls and form into flat patties using a burger press.
02 - Generously season both sides of the patties with salt, pepper, and garlic rub.
03 - Heat the griddle to a high temperature ensuring it is hot before cooking.
04 - Place patties on the hot griddle and sear for 4 minutes on the first side.
05 - Flip patties, season the flipped side, and immediately add three slices of pepper jack cheese on each patty. Cook for 3 more minutes.
06 - Transfer patties to the cooler part of the griddle to prevent overcooking.
07 - Lower griddle temperature and toast Texas toast buns for 3 to 5 minutes until golden brown.
08 - Place a scoop of jalapeño popper mixture atop each patty, stack double patties, and crown with the second toasted bun slice.
09 - Lightly toast both sides of assembled sandwiches on the griddle and serve immediately while hot.

# Helpful Hints:

01 - Avoid overcooking patties to maintain juiciness; properly toast buns to prevent sogginess.
02 - Use fresh jalapeños in the popper mixture for optimal flavor.
