01 -
Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease or line a baking dish with parchment paper.
02 -
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper gently until evenly blended without overmixing.
03 -
Form mixture into a loaf and place in prepared dish. Spread extra ketchup on top if desired. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
04 -
Remove meatloaf from oven and let cool for 10 minutes to prevent puff pastry from melting.
05 -
On lightly floured surface, roll out puff pastry sheet and cut into 1/2 inch wide strips. Wrap strips crisscross around meatloaf, leaving spaces for eyes.
06 -
Return wrapped loaf to oven and bake for 15–20 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden brown.
07 -
Press halved black olives into eye gaps. Warm marinara sauce for dipping or drizzle on serving platter. Slice and serve hot.
