# What You’ll Need:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 1 box strawberry cake mix (15.25–16.25 oz)
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted or salted butter, melted
03 - 1 large egg, at room temperature
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
05 - 4 oz full-fat or light cream cheese, at room temperature

→ Mix-Ins and Decoration

06 - 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
07 - 1/2 cup M&Ms, pink/red or assorted

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, stir together melted butter, egg, vanilla extract, and cream cheese until smooth.
02 - Gradually add the strawberry cake mix to the wet mixture and blend until a uniform dough forms.
03 - Gently fold in white chocolate chips and M&Ms with a spatula until evenly distributed.
04 - Cover and refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour to ensure cookies maintain their shape when baked.
05 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
06 - Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough and arrange on the prepared baking sheet with space between each.
07 - Bake for 9 to 10 minutes, until the edges are set yet centers remain soft.
08 - Allow cookies to cool briefly on the tray, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

# Helpful Hints:

01 - Chilling the dough before baking helps the cookies hold a thick and chewy texture.
02 - Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 4–5 days, or freeze baked cookies up to 3 months.
03 - For enhanced color, blend a drop or two of red food coloring into the dough if desired.
