# What You’ll Need:

→ Base

01 - Frozen tater tots, 1 bag (approx. 454 g / 1 lb)

→ Protein

02 - Ground beef, 450 g (1 lb), 93% lean

→ Vegetables

03 - Yellow onion, 1 medium, finely chopped
04 - Cherry tomatoes, 120 g (about 1 cup), sliced
05 - Jalapeños, 1-2 fresh or pickled, sliced
06 - Fresh cilantro, 10 g (¼ cup), chopped, optional

→ Seasoning

07 - Taco seasoning, 1 packet (approx. 28 g / 1 oz)
08 - Water, 120 ml (½ cup)

→ Dairy & Toppings

09 - Nacho cheese sauce, 225 g (8 oz), canned or jarred
10 - Sour cream, 120 g (½ cup), for serving

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Arrange frozen tater tots on a parchment-lined or greased baking sheet. Bake according to package instructions until crispy, usually about 20-25 minutes.
02 - While tater tots bake, heat a sauté pan over medium heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion, cooking and breaking up the meat until no longer pink, about 7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
03 - Add taco seasoning and water to the cooked beef mixture. Stir and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until well combined and slightly thickened.
04 - Transfer crispy tater tots to a serving plate. Evenly layer the seasoned beef over the tater tots. Drizzle nacho cheese sauce on top, then scatter sliced cherry tomatoes, jalapeños, and chopped cilantro if using.
05 - Add sour cream on the side or dolloped atop the assembled dish. Serve immediately while warm.

# Helpful Hints:

01 - For make-ahead convenience, prepare the meat and tater tots separately, then reheat before assembling to prevent sogginess.
