01 - 26 oz smoked sausage, sliced into coins

02 - 1/2 cup white onion, chopped
03 - 1 tbsp minced garlic
04 - 14.5 oz canned fire roasted tomatoes, undrained
05 - 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

→ Liquids

06 - 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
07 - 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
08 - 2 tbsp vegetable oil

→ Pasta & Grains

09 - 1 lb bow tie pasta (farfalle), uncooked

→ Cheese

10 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

12 - 2 tsp Cajun seasoning

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Heat vegetable oil in a deep sauté pan or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Brown the sliced smoked sausage on both sides until caramelized. Remove and set aside.
02 - Add chopped onion to the pan and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes until translucent. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant and tender.
03 - Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, and the undrained fire roasted tomatoes. Stir to combine evenly.
04 - Incorporate kosher salt, Cajun seasoning, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly to infuse the flavors.
